At HUND Denmark, we take great care in ensuring your handcrafted items arrive safely. All orders include tracking details once shipped. Once a carrier such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx marks a package as “Delivered,” it confirms the order was successfully delivered to the address provided at checkout.
Please note that HUND Denmark is not responsible for packages lost, stolen, or missing after confirmed delivery. In these cases, we recommend checking with neighbors, household members, or your local post office for possible misdelivery.
Customers who wish to add signature confirmation or insurance coverage to their shipment may contact us prior to shipping.
While we cannot refund or replace orders once marked delivered, our team is happy to assist you in filing a carrier claim and may, at our discretion, offer a courtesy discount toward a future purchase as a gesture of goodwill.
Our products are handcrafted using premium Italian leather designed to last for many years when used as intended. Leather is a natural material that will develop character and patina with use.
Please note that damage caused by abrasion, improper use, or environmental exposure is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not covered under our return or warranty policy.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
Leashes or collars dragging on concrete, asphalt, gravel, or other rough surfaces
Repeated rubbing against fences, metal crates, walls, or other abrasive materials
Chewing, scratching, or excessive pulling by dogs
Exposure to water, saltwater, rain, or prolonged moisture
Contact with harsh chemicals, cleaning agents, or other damaging substances
When leather is repeatedly rubbed on rough surfaces, the top dye layer may wear away, which can cause scuffing or discoloration. Similarly, water exposure can affect leather’s finish, color, and structure, particularly with natural, full-grain leather.
Because our products are made from soft, high-quality leather, they should be treated with the same care as other premium leather goods.
To help maintain your product’s longevity, we recommend:
Avoid allowing the leash to drag on the ground during walks
Keep leather products away from water and prolonged moisture
Allow leather to air dry naturally if it becomes damp
Avoid exposure to abrasive or rough surfaces
Regularly inspect products for wear from use

Natural Leather Characteristics
Because our products are made from fine full-grain bovine leather natural variations may occur. Differences in grain, color tone, texture, and markings are a natural characteristic of authentic leather and not considered defects.
Over time, leather will also develop a natural patina and signs of wear depending on how it is used and the environment it is exposed to. This aging process is part of what makes real leather unique.
